Sons -- James E. Cashman Jr. born November 22, 1907, died in 1987 of a stroke that was followed by a heart attack a couple of weeks later. Married Marjory D. Cashman in 1952 in Cincinnati, Ohio / One child. Me.
James E. Cashman Jr. siblings:
- Older sisters Elenor Prunier, married Frank Prunier...no children. Lived in Burlington on 77 Prospect Parkway (going from memory).
- Marrion Wallace...married James Wallace who was a major in the army and a member of the pre-cursor to the special forces in WWII, a combined force of USA and Canadian. With a red arrow-head emblem that I still have. No children. Lived in Washington D.C.
- Younger sister Grace who married Pete Peterson...he was a naval architect who specialized in luxury yachts. They moved to Japan in 1960's where he worked for Kawasaki ship building, and she taught English. No children.
- Younger Brother...Ben Cashman...don't remember the wife's name, but he had two children, Michael and Bonnie. Michael is a little older than me, and Bonnie a little younger. They all lived in Washington D.C. area when I knew them.
There is a fair amount of memorabilia, most of which my mom has, but I do have some of his salvage items, his pocket watch, a tin-type picture of him as a very young boy (could pass for my dad or me), his high school graduation program, etc. I will try to dig through them.
