We EBENEZER BLANCHARD of HANOVER in the county of PLYMOUTH, TRADER, and EDWIN ROSE, of HANOVER in the County of PLYMOUTH, TANNER, and both citizens of the United States, severally depose and say, that we have known James Cashman the foregoing petitioner for FIVE years last past, during which time he has resided in said SCITUATE & HANOVER and has conducted himself and behaved as a man of good moral character, attached to the principles of the Constitution of the United States, and wll disposed toward the good order and happiness of the same. Blanchard and Edwin Rose    I JAMES CASHMAN do solemnly swear that I do absolutely and entirely renounce and abjure all allegiance and fidelity to every foreign Prince, Potentate, State or Sovereignty whatever, particularly to VICTORIA QUEEN OF THE UNITED KINGDOM OF GREAT BRITAIN & IRELAND, whose subject I have hertofore been; and I do declare that I will support the Constitution of the United States of America.
