    Notes
    • It is highly likely that Deborah Nelligan and Thomas Ford knew each other in Ireland. Thomas was born in the Hamlet of Annascall. The Roman Catholic church where the Nelligans would have worshipped was located in this hamlet. Perhaps the Fords and Nelligans met at church? [6]
    • (Research):CONFLICT:

Deborah's death register entry states that her parents were born in Ireland and that their names were William and Mary. The name William conflicts with our understanding that Deborah's father was Edward Nelligan. I believe that the explanation for this is that the informant gave the wrong name to the town clerk. Deborah's civil marriage record lists her father as Edward. The death records of Deborah's brothers Edward and John list their father's name as Edward. The marriage records of Deborah's brothers Edward and John list their father's name as Edward.

      NEGATIVE SEARCHES:

There was no Forrester's insurance application for Thomas at TIARA. [1]
    • (Medical):Coloenteritis is defined as an inflammation of the digestive tract involving enteritis of the small intestine and colitis of the colon. Deborah's obituary said that she died "after a short illness." [1]
